Alexander Technique in South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne

The Alexander Technique is for you

if you are ready to live without pain

and to love your own body.

After nearly thirty years in the corporate environment, my body was showing the signs of damage caused by long hours of sitting at the desk and working on the computer – sore lower and upper back, neck, frequent tension headaches, RSI. I have tried many methods, but it was the introduction to Alexander Technique that changed my life forever. After experiencing the benefits of Alexander Technique, I made the decision to devote my future to studying and teaching Alexander Technique to others.

Why Alexander Technique?

If you are looking at yourself in the mirror and you don’t like what you see:

your shoulders are round, your back is hunched your posture is slouchy…

If you are spending your day in the office chair and by the end of the day

your back is killing you …

If you always searching for a back rest while sitting…

If you can’t walk as much as you used to without needing to sit down

to rest your back, hips, knees or feet…

…then Alexander Technique is your way to freedom:

freedom of moving, sitting, standing, walking

with ease and without pain

Here’s why…

“You translate everything, whether physical or mental or spiritual, into muscular tension.”

F. M. Alexander

When we were born, we had no habits – all movements were natural and coordinated. By the time we reach adulthood, our life is largely driven by habits, that we’ve developed. This includes the way we communicate, think, look, eat, move, sit, stand, etc.

While necessary at the time of formation, habits can become harmful on the long term. But this process is unrecognisable to us. Usually, we don’t even realise that we have lost our suppleness, because tension has become an unconscious response to stress and changing conditions over a lifetime.

The Alexander Technique helps you to identify and lose these harmful habits and learn to feel better and move in a more relaxed and comfortable way… the way nature intended.

The Alexander Technique is for you if you are ready to feel more comfortable in your own body.
