Why Physical Ergonomics?

Physical Ergonomics is proven to provide effective relief
from “Office Syndrome”. That is:
Low back pain/discomfort
Stiffness/pain between shoulder blades
Neck stiffness/neck pain
Persistent tension headaches
Text neck, Texting thumb, Mouse arm.

Inner Ergonomics (Physical Ergonomics) is your way out of pain and discomfort to improved productivity and a positive mindset.

“You translate everything, whether physical or mental or spiritual, into muscular tension.”

F. M. Alexander

We had no habits when we were born – all movements were natural and coordinated. By the time we reach adulthood, our life is primarily driven by habits we’ve developed. This includes how we communicate, think, sit, stand, work on the computer, use our mobile, react to stress etc.

While necessary at the time of formation, habits can become harmful in the long term. But this process is unrecognisable to us. Usually, we don’t even realise that we have lost our suppleness because the tension has become an unconscious response to stress and changing conditions over a lifetime.

Physical Ergonomics (Inner Ergonomics) in the form of the Alexander Technique helps you to identify, create awareness and lose these harmful habits. You will learn to feel better by moving in a more relaxed and comfortable way – the way nature intended.

Inner Ergonomics is for you if you are ready to feel more comfortable in your own body.

My Story

Alexander Technique Practitioner in Melbourne

After nearly thirty years in the corporate environment, my body was showing the signs of damage caused by long hours of sitting at the desk and working on the computer – sore lower and upper back, neck, frequent tension headaches, RSI.

I have tried many methods, but it was the introduction to the Physical Ergonomics (Alexander Technique) that changed my life forever.

After experiencing the benefits of Alexander Technique, I made the decision to devote my future to studying and teaching Physical Ergonomics to others.
