When we were born, we had no habits – all movements were natural and coordinated. By the time we reach adulthood, our life is largely driven by habits, that we’ve developed. This includes the way we communicate, think, look, eat, move, sit, stand, etc.
While necessary at the time of formation, habits can become harmful on the long term. But this process is unrecognisable to us. Usually, we don’t even realise that we have lost our suppleness, because tension has become an unconscious response to stress and changing conditions over a lifetime.

Office Chair Yoga is for people, who spend most of the day at the desk and would like to continue to be active and to improve theirs quality of life. Fully adopted to be done in the chair without compromise to the benefits of the traditional yoga.
After nearly thirty years in the corporate environment, my body was showing the signs of damage caused by long hours of sitting at the desk and working on the computer – sore lower and upper back, neck, frequent tension headaches, RSI.
I have tried many methods, but it was the introduction to the Physical Ergonomics (Alexander Technique) that changed my life forever.
After experiencing the benefits of Alexander Technique, I made the decision to devote my future to studying and teaching Physical Ergonomics to others.
